December 2025 Product Updates: Core Platform Improvements Built for Confidence

In December, we continued to invest in Minerva’s core platform, focusing on foundational improvements and ongoing enhancements to our open-source screening feed. These updates help us support better performance, expand analytical capabilities, and maintain the reliability of our screening results.

Key Updates

1. Backend Infrastructure Migration & Upgrade - Your Attention is Required!

We’ve been working on a large backend initiative designed to:

• Enhance performance and increase query speed
• Enable more advanced analytical features
• Ensure Minerva can proactively monitor all services

As we are preparing for this upgrade to our backend infrastructure, there will be some changes that you will need to perform on your side.
Over the past weeks, we’ve shared communications outlining:

• What is changing as part of the upgrade
• What actions are required from you to prepare
• Timelines and step-by-step instructions, tailored to your specific integration type

We’ll continue sending reminders to ensure migrations are completed on time. Our team is also happy to meet with you to walk through the upgrade and help ensure a smooth, seamless transition.

2. Improving Open-Source Feed Quality (Evaluation Underway)

Our current open-source feed relies on the Brave Search API. Based on your feedback and our own ongoing performance monitoring, we’ve identified opportunities to further improve result relevance and coverage. In some cases, open-source searches from Brave Search API may surface less relevant content, while in others important information may be missed.

We take this feedback seriously and are continuously working to refine and improve the quality of open-source insights we provide to you.

We’re actively evaluating alternative providers to improve the relevance, coverage, and reliability of our open-source feed. We’ll share updates and next steps early in 2026 as we finalize potential changes.
