We're excited to share our first product update of 2025!
January has been an exceptionally productive month as we've delivered several key enhancements to help fintechs and cryptos build capacity while reducing compliance costs.
These improvements directly address the challenges many of our customers face: growing compliance costs, high false positives, and repetitive manual workflows.
A comprehensive, human-readable record of all user and system-generated activities for a profile. The log displays screening history, user actions, profile status changes, and potential match reviews in chronological order. Our January improvement focused on making the entire log more intuitive and easier to understand.
Compliance teams need a complete, auditable history of all decisions made and actions taken on each profile. Every action should be easy to find and understand, both for internal collaboration and for demonstrating compliance processes to regulators.
A new profile status option that allows analysts and investigators to easily collaborate with managers and QA teams. Setting a profile to "Escalation" clearly indicates that manager review is required and can trigger notifications based on your team's workflow configuration.
This feature streamlines collaboration between team members, creates clear accountability in review processes, and supports your compliance team's established workflows. It ensures complex or high-risk cases receive appropriate attention and documentation.
A flexible configuration option that allows customers to set different screening frequencies for sanctions, PEP, and adverse media that precisely align with internal policies. While many organizations typically conduct daily sanctions checks, monthly PEP screening, and periodic adverse media reviews, this feature makes these frequencies fully customizable.
This customization ensures your screening program aligns perfectly with your risk-based approach and internal policies. It helps support reasonable workloads for your team by preventing over-screening while maintaining comprehensive coverage of genuine risks.
Enhanced functionality for the main profile table used for screening alerts, including more powerful search capabilities, multi-column sorting, and advanced filtering options for additional data fields.
These improvements make it significantly easier to find specific profiles or identify particular risk patterns across your customer base. Your team can quickly create targeted views based on risk factors, screening history, or customer attributes, enabling more efficient allocation of investigative resources.
All the features detailed in this update are now available to Minerva customers.
